Ok sure, I guess I'm just saying that you seem to be acting scared w/o any reason to. You give a free card when you very likely have the best hand on a draw heavy flop - I don't like to do that too often, unless I also have a draw that I don't want to blown off of. Maybe it's just a different style... I tend to bet most flops when I raise PF.

Enough of the dopey flop discussion, that is beside the point.

My goal here is to get a call from a K and a 3-bet from a full house (or a big bluff). So I am going to make it look like i am dumb and I am raising my K for value. Bet $250.

If you make a smallish overbet here, villain might make a "tough fold" with his K, and he might shrug and call with his JJ/QJ/etc. So, pushing is good too (sacrificing value from any K to get more from the bigger full houses), but I don't like a small overbet.

The flop/turn action looks fine.

I bet flop, check turn. He's gotta fear AK, this way you take control of hand and excercise pot control.

Anyway on River, I push, maybe a smaller boat, k calls. Bottom lines, he thinks his small bets have lured you in. Let it work, you've been "suckered" into stealing from him.

It looks like a number of people thought that an overbet was a good idea. I wasn't deep enough to make the distinction between a small overbet and push meaningful, so I pushed. In retrospect, I think that it was a bad idea. By the time I get to the river, I should have been able to put Villain put Villain on AK, KQ, KJ or KK. Flop check and weak lead on the turn would be a pretty funky line for Villain with QT, QJ, TT or JJ.

After I push, Villain lets his time bank run down and types in "AA?". I start braying like the donkey that I am, and he folds. Needless to say, I have a bad feeling that I pushed him off a K.
