It should be noted that if you don't play a hand, they kick you off after 15 minutes or so.

This is the reason it won't work.

You can't mine on a dummy account. It has to have money deposited

this is not true you can datamine on an account with zero balance. Matter of fact to datamine with StarSpy on PokerStars you dont even need to be logged in . You do need to be logged in to datamine Party/Party skins if you use PartyMine. I regularly datamine off a EuroBet account that has not been active or had real money in it for more than a year. Matter of fact when I datamine Party I'm using 4 or 5 accounts with no cash balance.

I'm in. Good idea. I bet guys like Krishanleong and Sthief who already have some serious datamining infrastructure could make a pretty significant dent if they felt like it.

[/ QUOTE ]

They actually can't, because you need $$ to sit at the tables, and most of the datamining accounts are 'dummy' accounts that we don't keep any money on.

You don't have to have enough $$ to sit at the tables, though. I think the balances on my accounts that I mine with range from $.02 to $.84, and I couldn't sit and take up a set with those tables, but I can observe.

I meant you have to have deposited at least once. You don't have to have money in the account but it can't be a newly created gnome or something.
