continuation bet into 4 players?

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to t1200, 1 fold, MP2 calls t1200, 2 folds, Button calls t1200, 1 fold, BB calls t800.

Flop: (t4600) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.

Turn: (t4600) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.

River: (t4600) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)

Didn't want to continuation bet into 4 players with that flop, and i'm probably being results oriented since it appears that i could have done it. But is this a good idea? I don't think it can be but want to make sure.

seems like that flop would have been an action flop, oh well. 99% of the time it would be a waste of chips to bet this flop. Just my opinion.

I agree. To many pf callers to jab after missing flop.

From the turn on (depending on your rep.) any called bet or reraise has you beat.

So what is the definition of a "continuation bet"? Betting the flop after raising pre-flop?

Yea when i was posting it, i didnt see why i didn't bet out on the turn. That probably would have done it too.
