Default Question re: Poker Room Bonuses

I've been clearing the sign-up bonus which requires 2000 points for $200 (pretty slow-going at 1-2). In addition to my sign-up, it says I am also eligible for Player Points Retribution, with a $10 bonus costing 1000 points. If I redeem this package, does it subtract my 1000 earned points away from my sign-up? In other words, if I cash in my first 1000 earned points for the $10, will I have to start over for the sign-up at 2000 (essentially trading in $100 worth of earned bonus for $10), or will it have cleared concurrently (giving me a potential $220 for my first 2000 points)? The language in the T&C is confusing and vague.

It will not set you back. Spending points does not take away from your progress towards clearing a bonus.
