Default With KK, why raise an out of position opponent when A on flop?

I'm questioning everything these days, but I'll try to make this the last post for a bit. This might be results oriented. When the villain folded, though, I couldn't understand the point of my flop raise. If he was bluffing an Ace, why didn't I let him keep doing that?

This hand stinks. Just call down. Do you know the WA/WB line when you are in position?

Pot is smallish on the flop. If he's betting an ace, you won't fold him. If he's betting a small PP, you might fold a 2-outer that would keep betting, and the same goes for a 5-outer small pair. Just call down, bet if checked to.

I am so sick of calling down my big pairs when an ace hits and some donkey bets into me. I feel like they always show me some [censored] like A4...
