You would be quite surprused how intimidating you can be if you are well dressed at the poker table.

I would say that most of the Canadian poker players qualify as metrosexual for sure.

[/ QUOTE ]

We need more of the Bob & Doug variety of Canadians. Why don't they play poker?

I just put him (Daniel) in the metro category cause of his highlighted hair and good manners.

The February 2004 issue of Men's Journal did a fashion spread with some of the better known pros; Gus Hansen, Phil Laak, Chip Jett, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and Antonio Esfandiari. Wearing the latest Armani, Blass, and Boss - they all look pretty Metro.

Those photo shoots could make Ray Zee look like Jude Law.

Why can't you believe it? The trend towards poker's metrosexualization may be the most far reaching development in the poker subculture of this day and age. Gone are the romantic days of the cigar chomping cowboy and the tobacco spitting mafia don lookalike. Poker has become a totally hygienic yuppy pastime.

I hope this metrosexual trend is just a bubble as it is not consistent with poker's stylistic macho roots. For the record, I am currently a metrosexual but I am doing my darndest best to dehypnotize myself from this mass hypnosis.

You must play at a gay cardroom, because I don't see any well-dressed coifed guys at Canterbury.
