Default KQs

Some background. I feel I'm being pushed out of pots. My W%SD is in the high 50's which tells me I'm folding too soon. Villain is 16/3 and agg of 1.4 (ex preflop)

7 handed .5/1

Hero has KQ of hearts in MP2

Preflop

Folded to hero who RAISES, 2 folds, button CALLS, BB completes

Flop

J/6/3

BB checks, hero Bets, villain RAISES, BB folds, Hero CALLS

Turn

2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villain bets, Hero calls

River

Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets, Villain calls

Does anyone call when raised on the flop? I think I have 6 overcards and a backdoor flush.

It would be pretty unusual to fold to a single flop raise. With overcards and backdoor draws, I definitely call. Nice hand.

What does this mean? Is it your Went To Showdown %? A typical range is 30-35 for that. If it's Won $ At Showdown, then you're right - 50-55 is typical. They go together, though. A lower WTSD will usually tend to imply a higher W$ASD, and vice versa.

As far as the hand goes, the flop call is borderline. I don't mind it without a more detailed read. The rest is standard. And go for miles' formatting next time - it's much easier to read.

9.5:1 with overcards, backdoor straight draw, backdoor flush draw, and a tight opponent who may actually be paying attention to our play make this a necessary call.
