Default I am a passive calling station...

...and I don't like it. This hand felt very wrong, but I don't know what I could have done different. I have no other read on the opponent other than that he is not horrible, which basically means he's not very loose nor a maniac. So, what could I have done different?

This looks fine.

I would consider a river raise, since he looks so damn weak, but I doubt he calls with AQ-AT here.

there are definitely times where call/call/call is the best line. his small river bet is curious but i'm not sure about raising. it looks like a lot like AQ/AJ to me at this point who assumed his kicker was good because it's a limped pot (not sure why he checkraised the flop though) and you may get him to make a crying call with one pair. if he has AK or 55, oops!

You played it fine. If you lost out, it wasn't that much, and I think what you save here in the long run when behind outweighs it.

does anyone not raise the turn here? you lose probably approx the same amount when behind, ie you're done if villain reraises/calls, and you prevent him from popping off a free card T-Q and K,7 for counterfeiting

he's is the SB here, so i put him in just 4 hands K5,55,AQ,AJ, to check raise the flop, and you beat 3 of that 4 hands
what do u think?
