Good game, guys. I really thought we'd lose this game when Riske was put back in in the 10th after barely escaping the 9th. It took some luck and a couple good players for him to just get out of the 9th with 2 RISP's and he should not have been put back in in the 10th. Oh well....hell of a rubber match tommroow.

That's funny, becase we'd lose when we couldn't close the deal with 2 on and one out in the 9th. So far this series has not disappointed in the least. IMO this has been the most exciting baseball I've seen all year. Man, I can't wait for tomorrow night.

Without any doubt, the lamest catch-phrase in all of sports broadcasting.

Who should I thank for this guy leaving the Red Sox broadcast booth to join the White Sox?

That was sweet indeed. Why he didn't walk later is beyond me. That strike 2 was not even close.

huge break for the sox. that ball was a foot outside.

Pretty inconsistent strike zone all night for both sides.

[/ QUOTE ]

Completely agree. I thought the low zone would be a benefit for Westbrook early on. But he did induce many grounders tonight.
