Intermediate suited connectors and pocket pairs - Party 3/6
General question. A 3/6 table at Party during evening hours, with what I normally see to be a typical makeup of players. 3-4 to the flop generally - maybe 2-3 good players, 2-3 bad players, and the rest somewhere in between.
Here's my question: What do you generally do from early, middle and late position with intermediate pocket pairs, 6/6, 7/7, 8/8, and 9/9, if no one else has come in the pot? Also, what do you generally do with intermediate suited connectors, 9/10, 8/9, 7/8 in late position if only 1 person has limped in? |

Re: Intermediate suited connectors and pocket pairs - Party 3/6
I'll open-limp any pair in EP, o-r 99 in EP, 88 in MP and others in LP if the blinds are tightish.

Re: Intermediate suited connectors and pocket pairs - Party 3/6
I like open-limping all pocket pairs (in a tighter game, only 66 and up) from EP, and I raise 99 and up from EP. In MP, I open-raise with 77 and up, and in LP I'll open-raise 55 and up. I'm tossing the connectors with only 1 limper.

Re: Intermediate suited connectors and pocket pairs - Party 3/6
I agree with this.
I'll also take 98s and T9s to the Flop with only 1 caller and add 87s as long as the blinds are likely to play. |
