Default I WANT MY MONEYS BACK!!

First off I wanna say that I know this is my own fault to play blackjack when tilted and I have also contacted GA.
But I wanna know if I have rights to ask the casino to refund the moneys I lost.

About a week ago I emailed my bookie where I had been playing lot of lately that I have a problem with -ev games and I can tilt badly and lose big money on those and I wanna get my casino account banned so I cant play at their casino( I know this is possible because they did that to my last account on that bookie) and they promised to fix that "today or tomorrow" and tomorrow was 5 days ago. My stakes in poker and sports are pretty big and I used to have lot of money(in normal standards) on my sports account so they must have known that if I tilt and play casino games I will most likely lose big time.

Anyway now yesterday I lost a decent money on their casino on tilt because my account was not banned.

So should I ask to get my moneys back or at least something?

Yes I know I wouldent most likely write this message if I had won on tilt, but I think thats not exactly the point.

Im also going to add link to this thread on email I will write to that bookie.

Edit: Topic changed to more "intresting"..

Interesting... The only way you would have a legal claim for them to refund your money, is if you can prove that you lost the money due to their mistake or gross negligence. I think it's a pretty weak claim, but if they have a policy- or some regulation they have to follow as a gambling site (i.e. freeze an account if the user requests it because they are a compulsive gambler) you could have a case. I still think it's weak though.

Yes I have both emails saved on my computer the one I explained why I want the the bans and the one where they promised to do it.
Also this is copy from the site:
"
Do you gamble too much?
Gambling is just fun for most people, but unfortunately some can develop a dependency towards gambling. XXXX take a responsible attitude and kindly ask you to contact us if you feel that you are gambling too much. We also recommend you to contact an independent gambling organisation for help in this difficult situation.

- GamCare, the official independent gaming care organisation in the UK www.gamcare.org.uk
- Gamblers Anonymous, a fellowship organisation working with gambling problems www.gamblersanonymous.org

"

So I think at least it would not be good publicity if I would give the name of bookie(that's why I keep the name of to bookie only for myself untill I get the response from them) and tell they let people with gambling problem play even when they ask for little help.

I think you have a legitimate claim to the money.

this may be a moral issue. does a company have the obligation to deny service to a customer? a morbid obese customer enters md's and says not to serve me and then supersizes the order. a cigarette smoker with lung cancer enters a store to buy smokes. tells the clerk not to serve him and then buys a cartoon?

i dont get it. since when is business a regulator of morality. also, along these thoughts, since when is the gov a regulator of morality? cavet emptor, pal.

As I said in my first post, I think it's a weak claim, specifically because I don't really buy "compulsive gambling" anymore than I buy any of the addictions you listed above. However, unfortunately, the government has nearly always been a regulator of morality, and as such law generally does oblige companies to take proactive actions to protect customers. (ex. the bartender is *supposed* to tell the ridiculously drunk guy that he's had enough and send him home) I think it's very possible there are regulations that force gaming sites to freeze players accounts if they request it, and if that is the case, they probably will return the money.

Default Got response

Hi AlltheWay,

I got this mail from our support team this morning.

First of all I want to say I am very sorry for this. You should of course have been inactivated the same day as you sent your email to us. And I am currently looking through the email conversations to see how this could happen. I can assure you that XXXX..

Regarding your loss, XXXX will refund every single euro you have lost after the 5th of June. That’s the least we can do for you AllTheWay.

You should also know that you are a very valuable customer for us. And we would be very glad to keep you as a customer! I also think you are a very honest and gentle person, remember you told us when you had a pre-deposit double credited etc. I have inactivated your casino part of XXX this morning. Will now start looking how much we should refund to your account.

Again im very sorry for this. But how do you feel about this solution? I really hope that you will stay with us at XXXX in the future as well.

Kind Regards
