Give me his hand range
Following Josh.'s (not sure how the punctuation works here) suggestion I'm curious what range you would put the villain on in this situation. I couldn't find enough cards that were favoralbe enough to warrant calling the turn but either way this is a fairly common situation villain raises or 3 bets preflop and keeps the pedal down. What range do you put them on?
edit: stats got deleted accidentally 66/32/2.6 stats loose and quite aggressive both pre and postflop. Final Pot: 5.70 BB Since every other hand I've posted the last few days has had a "who the [censored] are you?" response I'll give a short bio. My old nick was jdl22. Unless you post in OOT (and even if you do) you've likely never heard of me. I started out posting a lot in the NL forum before it was split. I then got sucked in by OOT and didn't post much in the strategy forums. Now I'm trying to learn SH play so I'll likely be posting here regularly (are you excited by that or what?). I'm in green because I didn't want to see the magazine forum get filled with spam as happened before AngryCola was a mod (he stepped down as a mod for a bit). My most famous post is this reply to el diablo in his ulyquest. I'm married and have a cat named Huey who is downright adorable. |

Re: Give me his hand range
Given that these stats are based on a decent number of hands, you should be capping preflop and showing down a lot of the time.
Against a normal TAG's 3-betting range (77-AA, AK-AJ, ATs, KQ, KJs or something like that) you are likely in trouble on the turn and I don't mind your fold. |

Re: Give me his hand range
Wow. I would play this guy as if his range was something like
A8s+, AT+, KJs+, KQ, and any PP. This can all vary though obviously depending on more than his stats... is he a thinking player? Are you stealing often? Assuming "average" circumstances I would put him on some range like that... |

Re: Give me his hand range
Wanted to add... most players you would want to differentiate between his preflop three-betting range and his hand range based on the postflop play. In this case, they are the same since this player will continue to bet any hand until he is raised or his opponent folds.
Since I didn't give a range before, I think this player would 3-bet with... Any Pair, Axs, A7+, QJ+, JTs+, KJ, KTs+ |

Re: Give me his hand range
Cap preflop.
The way you played it you should call the turn at least. EDIT: I'll post a range, give me a minute. |
