Default $30 AJ TP+FD

I'm pretty new to sngs, was wondering what the standard play is here. Is this a clear fold? Also, is my preflop play fine?

I should be leading the flop into a PF raiser? Is this so that if I'm raised I can get away from it? My plan was to check call flop and fold to a 2nd barrel on the turn, bet river if checked through.

first of all, awesome screen name... one of the best ive seen in a while.

that being said, i toss this (rather than limp) and fold to the raise pf. aj is a good hand for mtts but just too weak, imo, this early in mp of a stt with 800 chips. 800 chips gives very little room for any post flop play to see where you stand with a marginal hand.

since you called, i dont mind the check on the flop so much. and the call of the first raise on the turn is obviously good with the nut flush draw. when villian goes allin i think you should definitely fold and save your last ~650 for a better spot.

fold preflop
if you're gonna call a pf raise here, you have to lead out this flop... exactly what flop are you looking for? AJJ?

Arguably you should fold to the preflop raise. But it's not bad to call here. You've got position, and the raise isn't much, giving you good odds. After that, I think you played it well.
