Default Women at Casinos

So my good friend, Roy, has a very conservative wife and he's never played live poker. I was wondering how the women are dressed at casinos, specifically one like Foxwoods (non-Vegas). What I see on TV has Vegas casinos with strippers and dancers and I was wondering if Foxwoods is like that, or if it's more like the mall or any other public place.

I realize this seems goofy, but it's serious because his wife really doesn't want him to play live poker because of how women around him would be dressed.

Thanks for all comments,
M

will your friend's wife loosen his leash enough for him to make it to the casino in the first place?

Well, he makes the decisions and all, but she just worries about how women are dressed. She doesn't care about the casino itself.

I think the hitch might be the cocktail waitresses...

Yeah, I think the cocktail waitresses are going to remain a problem.

It certainly depends on the casino, and the day of the week and the time of day.

Even in Las Vegas there are casinos which she would find hard to object to. I stayed at Sam's Town a few months ago and it was definitely PG-13.

Possibly suggest that your friend and his wife and you and your wife go check out the casino(s) he's interested in. Have dinner, show them the card room, etc. If she finds it objectionable after a half hour or hour, then do something else.

On a weekend night the girls might dress as if they are going out on a weekend night (surprise).

During the week in the day-time most of the females in the casino are over the age of 60 and are camped out at the slot-machines.

Some women dress a bit more sluttily perhaps...while other don't.
Just like real life....which this guy's wife seems determined to want to avoid.

most gamblers in a casino are not dancers/strippers in some nude Vegas show.

Tell her that almost half the population of the U.S. has been to Vegas at least once in their lives (I heard this on a Vegas TV show today....so I guess it must be true).
So most of the people in the casinos (even in Vegas....much less Foxwoods I imagine) are about the same as in typical, everyday life. Seriously...this is kind of a weird question.
