Re: Transporting money to Vegas.
If you keep a decent balance in the bank, you will usually be able to get them gratis (as long as you're not in the lowest tier of their accounts). I think taking a few grand to vegas in hundreds is not that big a deal. It won't even overstuff your wallet. No one is going to rob you on the strip. I don't think it's a worry. Once you start talking $10,000 or whatever, make arrangements.

Re: Transporting money to Vegas.
I agree with jeffage, I regularly carry 3-5K in my pocket, even on a regular trip to commerce, I have never had any problem, larger amounts I deposit in the hotel safe

Get comfortable. That's waht I did. Also: AmEx traveler checks can be had very cheaply/free directly from AmEx depending on what kind of member you are. Getting them from a bank is a ripoff. [/ QUOTE ] If you're a member of AAA, you can also get them for free (i.e., no fee; you still have to pay the face value... ) at any AAA office. -Mike |

Re: Transporting money to Vegas.
I got to Vegas quite a bit and would be happy to carry your money out if you're not comfortable doing it.

Re: Transporting money to Vegas.
Tape it to your body like in bringing down the house. Then before you go to sleep that night, you can remove your clothes and take some flattering pictures of yourself "being made out of money." If this doesn't impress a lady, she's a lesbian or a communist, or both.
