So this happend and then Juicy Gina gets 15K seized for Using a "Bot" which wasnt proven even close from what I heard. Looks like people need to be real careful with what you do.

This type of thing scares the [censored] outta me. The software doesn't give that big of an edge anyways, does it? I've visited their site, I'm sure. So downloading any trial of any type of software even if it's just out of curiosity is out of the question because if it is deemed illegal and Party finds even a trace of it, they will seize funds?

I can understand an ip ban maybe, but give the op his money.

scares you???

i would rather party err with the side of caution.

applaud them.

I ahve called them twice and they will not reopen. I just don't get it.

I'm not sure what you don't "get". Their options are to keep all your money or give it to your. Gee, I wonder why they're not giving it back?

I only had $500 which isn't the big problem, its that party is for sure the best site for sngs. I only play sngs, so why would I be using a ring game tracker to cheat? I sure don't know, and Party won't tell me either.

You don't understand why this type of thing scares me? Let's say maybe OP is telling the truth. Let's say that in the future I check out a trial of some new software that later gets banned by Party and even after uninstalling that software it leaves some trace that Party picks up on. I lose the cash in my account and the ability to play there. This happens even though I've done nothing wrong. My money is gone and I can't find a single rational person at Party to deal with.

I play for a living and 90% of my play is at Party. Do I think that there's a snowball's chance in hell of something like this happening to me? Not really. But does the thought of it happening scare me? Yes.

Unless Party has hard evidence that PE was actually being used in violation of their T&C, then confiscating funds is pretty harsh.

We don't have all the facts and we're talking about Party here. They get things wrong all the time. If you woke up this morning and found out that Party had confiscated a sizable portion of your bankroll when you had done nothing wrong, I doubt that it would be any consolation to you that Party had erred on the side of caution.

you can rest assured and easy that party does not seize funds from innocent people.

how many times have you read this type incident here? never, right?

also, if you are doing nothing wrong, your money could not be safer.

we have enuff to understand the integrity of the OP. do you expect party to accept that his venture into ANOTHER illegal database was innocent?

zero tolerance. off with his head (and funds)

I saw a cool little search fature so I typed in my name to check out my stats, but that is absolutely it. I knew the software was illegal

Hypothetically let's say Party examines your web browser cache, finds a page that mentions Poker Edge (just like this one does....) and then confiscates your account....

A completely absurd and outlandish scenario of course, but what would you do?

I doubt you'd just roll over and take it.
