Resources about trading

i'm a complete newbie who has no background in trading and would like to learn more about it. i'm an engineering student 2 semesters away from graduating, so i have a pretty decent mathematical background. other than that, i really know nothing at all. can someone please point me to some good books or online resources?

i don't know...stocks, futures, options? what's the best for someone with no experience to start with?
