Default only one tourney, 10ppl, 5ppl, or 2ppl?

I have a tournament ticket. I'd love to just convert it to cash, but that isn't an option.

I'm trying to decide what will give me the best chance to cash.

10 players, top 3 pay. (30%)
5 players, top 2 pay. (40%)
2 playeres, top 1 pay. (50%)

Unfortunately, since I do not play tournaments or no limit (has to be NLHE), I believe I will be unlikely to have an edge in these games. It feels like the fewer players there are, the worse my edge is, such that, if I were to play heads up, my EV would be significantly reduced, keeping in mind that I have little experience at heads up play, so I wouldn't want to appproach that deep-stacked.

What size game makes the most sense to play, keeping a preference to cash in mind but also not wanting to compromise my EV?
