88 button - how about this turn fold?
No good read on SB. BB is very laggy, VP$IP 42% and PFR 23%, post-flop AF around 1.6. My impression is also that he is tricky... and pretty good at it... at least so far on this table.
PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: (8 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG folds. Turn: (5.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB bets, Hero folds, ... I would probably call down if SB wasn't in the hand here. Yay or nay? |

Raise, if that doesn't get SB to fold you can safely take the free showdown. Value bet most rivers against the BB.

Re: 88 button - how about this turn fold?
No, I don't like the fold. His bet could be "top pair wait to see if the turn card is safe bet" or it could be a "the board doesn't look like it helped a preflop raiser so I'll value bet my pair of 4's" or "I just picked up a draw" or just a stone cold bluff. Raise the turn with the intention of taking the free showdown.

Yah, I like raising. I was probably too concerned about SB.
