ING DIRECT and Neteller

Anyone know if it is possible to link a Neteller account to your ING account? They claim on the ING site that linked accounts must be checking accounts but I thought I read here that a Neteller account qualifies. Anyone?

The links are Neteller--->ING Direct----->Checking Account. You link Neteller to a bank account and ING to a checking account.

I am under the impression that I must link NEteller on the ING side so ING can accept deposits. You are saying that Neteller can be linked to ING and I am good to go. Correct?

You must link ING from Neteller (neteller needs to know your bank acct number. ING doesn't care). You must link your checking account from ING (ING needs to know our checking account number but your checking account doesn't care).

The only way to transfer funds into or out of your account is by transferring them to and from your linked checking account(s) via our website, our Interactive Phone Service by calling 1-888-464-7868 or by speaking to a Sales Associate at 1-888-464-0727.

You have experience to the contrary?

Goto the neteller site. You have a linked bank account there (probably your checking account). You must change that account to ING. Then, when you withdraw from Neteller, it goes to ING.

Get your account and routing number from ING by clicking on the direct deposit button at the top of your ING page.

I transfer from Neteller to ING at least once a week...

With your ING account registered as the bank account at Neteller, you can log on to Neteller and transfer money to or from ING.
