I have no idea what all of this is, but after reading a few of them, yes it seems like pretty awful advice.

It seems mostly to be tight-passive strategy with the occasionaly hand where they recommend you to ridiculously overplay it (ex: the TT hand with a K and J on the flop).

Yeah, it also seems to set you up to be on the top of everyone's Buddy List. It hardly ever recommends that you steal or make isolation plays and then has you raising when you are probably behind anyone but a super donk lag. This is from the free demo. After 100 hands it just repeats giving everyone the same hole cards but in different positions. I'd say there were maybe 2 or 3 hands out of the 100 that might of helped my game, but if you haven't played much, this advice seems like it would make you look drunk. The demo gives you AA 3 times and they always hold up against someone capping you so at the end of the 10 hands you've won like 200 fake bucks.

Waffle, i'll try the vexbot and sparbot (heads up bots).

ok, here's a little description:

sparbot - this bot is an approximation of an optimal lhe strategy. its goal is to make sure you at best, break even. however, it does not attempt to exploit your mistakes. it just plays a solid game. it does not change after time or adapt to your play. however, it does use mixed strategies (in the exact same situation, call 90%, raise 10%, as an example)

vexbot - this bot is an attempt of a maximal lhe strategy. it attempts to exploit ever error you make to make the most money. it adapts to your play. however, it learns pretty slowly and needs a few K hands on you before it begins to get a grasp of you, according to the author. i haven't had the patience to play it very long

edit: just loaded up my old copy. bleh. wish there was a way to play with the broken party BB/button system!
