Default Party 30/60 river bluff check raise.

raise preflop in EP with AQ threebet by mp LAG coldcalled by new player.
flop is 7d tc jc
i check, lag bets, unknown calls, i call

turn is 8d
check, bet, raise i think for a long time and cold call, lag calls

river is blank diamond, i look for vertain like i'm on a draw, though the more likely one is the club draw (i have a of clubs)

check, bet, i raise?

You know anything about the cold-caller?

The only possible way this works is that river bettor has air and the other guy folds the winner for 2 more bets.

If the bettor has any kind of hand whatsoever, he's not folding.

This just isn't going to work out often enough to be +ev.

you can't see someone making a fancy fold vs someone screaming that they hit a draw?

edit: and obviously it puts a massive amount of pressure on the mp player

yeah, and i'm almost sure that the lag will fold here, and that the unknown is capable of making a bad laydown considering i'm screaming powerhouse. I'm sure there are people on this board who lay down AA there or even a weak two pair.

I don't think this is going to work often but i think 1:4 is very possible.

Short or Full Table?

Why did you call the turn raise? Even if you hit your AQ it might not even be good to win. I'm folding here 100% time. The flop has a pretty heavy draw, if not someone probably has a pair alrady. You can't really bluff here with just AQ.
