this should be an easy fold right?
Weak tight or good lay down?

Re: this should be an easy fold right?
NICE fold. Few players make this laydown. With a raise, re-raise, and call you need aces to play!

Re: this should be an easy fold right?
I vote push. The guy who just called off half his stack isn't a concern to me. The initial raise is also discounted merely for being the initial raise. The reraise concerns me, but 99-QQ/AK-AJ are much more likely than AA/KK simply because there are more combinations of those others. You also have some FE over 99-JJ due to your re-re-raise. I hope the donk who just called off half his stack calls you regardless, but with so much dead money in the pot, it is time to PULL THE TRIGGER!

Re: this should be an easy fold right?
I think this is a situation where there are two AKs out there. I see this happen. A raise with Jacks or AK, then a call with JJ or QQ to the AK.
I probably lay it down, too. |

Re: this should be an easy fold right?
What bothers me is the possibility of two Aces being out there
and one pocket pair. Or another scenario is two Ace Kings and one pocket pair. If I knew the initial raiser would fold his medium pocket pair than I push, otherwise I'm inclined to fold. Bruce |

I made this exact fold last night and had to take a shower afterwards because I felt dirty.

If Jennifer Harman will do it, so can you. Good fold.

Re: this should be an easy fold right?
Yes, easy fold. Certainly without any reads. That cold call of the re-raise is the scariest part about this hand.
How would you guys play this without that cold call? Just a raise and a re-raise to you? I think I'm still folding. I just busted out of a $10 dollar satellite to the Million Dollar PP tournie today when I had AKs MP. 3 players limped to me. I raised 5xBB. One limper cold called and a second moved in (had me covered). This should be an easy fold (I would have had about 28BBs left as this was farily early in the tournament). Don't want to hijack the thread, but thought it was similar. |
