Default Anybody wish levels were 20 minutes, not 15?

It seems to me that these MTT becoming all in fests, instead of tests of poker. Making the limits 20 minutes would help a tad bit. Maybe they should try a few tournaments with 20 minutes or instead of 1,500 starting chips to start have 2,000 starting chips with the 15 minute levels.

Rebuys have longer play with deeper stacks, and in general smaller tournaments stay deeper longer. There is still a great amount of skill in shortstack tournament poker, it is just a different skill. The WCOOP events should be good, and the 300 every saturday on stars is quite good.

Just referring to the $10, $20, $5, $3, $2, $1, what have you tournaments on stars that I play that give you $1500 in chips with blinds at 10/20. 16 minutes in you can pick up a AK and someone will raise to 200, you'll be at 1300 chips, not doing too much and then re-raise to make it 500. So right there you have 800 chips. If the flop comes Q104 and the guy puts you all in, for example, you fold and then you push all in with a good hand.

So for your investment fee you play 1 hand of poker and push all in on a coinflip.

I enjoy the tournaments but there is an unbelievable amount of luck in them. You can't deny that.

There was a post about a week ago about some 2 day deepstack WSOP esque tourneys on Games Grid with low buy ins in September. I think you should be able to find it with the search function.

Thanks, I'll have to look into it. That definitely sounds like a cool change up.

This is why I like playing rebuys - they usually get much deeper stacks, and I often find myself sitting with 25+BBs for a while.
