I'll be there next summer for a church-thing. I was wondering the same.

From what I understand, the room gets action and the games are loose.

This was reported in the paper here:

"
There are usually two or three limit Hold 'Em tables going at any one time of the $3-$6 and $5-$10 varieties, and they have always produced plenty of action on my Monday visits. There is a "Bad Beat Jackpot" (currently near $100,000) awarded in these cash games if an Aces-over-Kings full house is beaten.

Both games are extremely loose, and they often take on the "No Fold 'Em Hold 'Em" tag common in low-limit games. Even though it is correct to fold more often than it is to play it despite the stakes, it is very difficult to pry players away from their hands at the Lucky Eagle.

For example, my friend and I have both been told by the same player that
her favorite hand to play was J-2 (yuck). "

And its about a 2 hour drive from San Antonio, not even close to 4.
