Default 3 players, button play

I was playing a table which changed down to 3 players when I was dealt j9os on the button.

The BB is 46/4.5/ (0.7 postflop)
while
The SB is 26/16.9/ (2.2 postflop)

I was really in a difficult situation because I was unsure what the best play was. I have position over both players which is good, and J9 is an average hand. The BB who has to invest 1 dollar is pretty loose, with a WTS 50 and W$S 39 so a pretty bad all around player.

What is the best play here, do we try and push out the SB who is tight aggressive, and try and demolish the BB postflop.

Do we call because we don't want to invest much with this mediocre holding when we probably aren't going to push the BB out of the hand.

Do we fold because our hand does not hold enough value to continue from here?

Isn't J9o much better than "average"? I know I open-raise it on the button almost always.

I would never call and almost never fold. Even loose players get lousy cards in the blinds and will fold to you. If they call preflop and check on flop, I'd fire away. Probably do the same on the turn as well. Position is god and you have it. You can always fold postflop if you need to.

i dunno guys. if this is .5/1 and we're planning on 1 bb getting raked out of this pot I think it cuts a lot into the profitability of the hand.

This hand was at 2/4. I folded for some reason but I usually raise this. I thought that loose goose would always call and didn't know if I have enough equity to be raising.

I would never call here, and probably raise 90%+ of the time.

What kind of figures / players would we not raise this hand against or is this always a raise?
