I've had 14, or something, and over 10 at least 3 times I can remember. In fact it might have been 17. Damned if I remember now.

I've only been playing a lot for 3-4 months. I've got about 2000 games. I guess I've been lucky that I haven't hit this til now?

2000 games and just your first 10 OOTM streak? Perhaps a math guy like tigerite can figure out what the chances of playing 2000 games without a 10+ OOTM streak is (let's assume that splashpot's ITM % is 39% for this little experiment).

at 40% ITM there is a 0.6% chance of ten consecuative OOTM finishes...so about 11 to 1 against...

did I do that right? .6 expodential 10=.006...2000*0.006=12

Ha, funny, I've never looked for these streaks before, I've just looked at overall downswings.

It appears from my records that I once had 13 OOTM, then a 3rd, then 12 OOTM. This was when I played the 33s, so I doubt that the 50 bucks for 3rd in the middle there did too much for my confidence at the time. This started my worst downswing ever of -34 buyins. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] I think I've had -10 buyins a couple of times at the 55s, but I try not to pay attention to things like that anymore. Try not to, at least.
