Default Conditional & Unconditional trading

Hi

Could someone please tell me what this means exactly, beccause I read an article about the partygaming ipo, and it said that conditional trading will take place this monday and then unconditional will take place on thursdsay?

Wild guess on my part.

There is a "when issued period". Trades during the WI period are conditional because, if for some unknown/unexpected reason, the deal doesn't settle (i.e. the company doesn't get the money from the stock sale) - all trades are cancelled and the IPO is unwound.

Again, wild guess...
