Default OT: 81,000 players on party

Just saw the party figures reach 81,000. Never seen much more than 70,000 before. Could the extra players be mainly down to party's beta software? If so, even the special one is slightly worried that party's beta software is encouraging even more players to multitable. Just wait till party release the new software for real! The end of easy money is getting closer and closer!

If you're playing 2 tables it counts you twice? You're still just logged on once.

Yes, it counts you once for each table you have open.

You've clearly missed the point. Just because there are 80k people on x amount of tables doesn't mean there is more people online than 2 weeks ago where there was maybe 70k. It more likely means there is the same amount of people online as 2 weeks ago, but the multi-tablers are making up the extra 10k. You really think that party could have signed up more then 10% extra new players in a week? Of course not, the extra players are the multi-tablers who were maybe playing 4 tables last week, and 9 tables this week. In my opinion, mainly the better players will be playing more tables thanks to party's new software, which inevitably makes the games tougher.

because they went from 70k to80k in a week doesnt mean anything. Just because someone has a party account doesnt mean that they play every night. Assuming that those numbers are logins and not multitablers, u have to remember that there are always more accounts out there than there are being represented online in a given night. This could easily account for fluctuations as well in online players on any given night.

As a previous poster said before the party split, anyone that wanted to play 8 tables or more could easily do so with the skins.

The end of easy money? How so? Because more fish might multitable?

No I think OP has a point here. Who is more likely to multi-table, a fish or a TAG? Obviously the 2+2 TAG. There is one player that is solid 20/8 that makes games less profitable because he is always at almost every single full ring 200nl game. I'm not sure how big the effect is, but the ability to 10 table makes games tougher by some degree.

thing you're missing is, you're assuming that beating the average 2+2'er is "hard." That's not the case at all. Beating the average 2+2'er at NL 400 to NL 1K is actually quite easy.

Since when? Previously Party only counted each account logged on, which meant certain players were counted several times ude to having accounts on each of the skins.
