Three Things a first time 7 card stud player should k,now...
So I accidently entered a 7 card stud tournament on party. I really don't have any experience in the game. I do have skalansky's book but i've only skimmed it.
basically I know this. wired trips, three flushes, three straights, and high pairs are good starting hands. advice? |

Re: Three Things a first time 7 card stud player should k,now...
I have a draft sticky/FAQ thing here which has some very basic stud strategy at the bottom. You should study 7CS4AP, but it sounds like this tournament is going on right now, so it might be a little late for you to go out and buy it. If you happen to have the original Super/System, Chip Reese's section on stud is quite good.
I was hoping to get this in working order tomorrow night, but I had a voice-mail when I got home from a friend I hadn't heard from in several months. It may depend what she's up to tomorrow. |

If you are gonna bust out of a Stud tourney, that is a good hand to bust out on.
