Re: What do you do when someone comes to your table and panhandles?
I either tell them that I've already transferred the money or tell everyone that "he hasn't paid me back for last time." Their reactions are usually pretty funny.

Some people can make more money begging than they could at any job they would qualify for.

You guys are comedic geniuses. You should quit poker and write for Punk'd or Boiling Points.

Re: What do you do when someone comes to your table and panhandles?
In my experience, it's the worst at UB. I play 3/6 and 5/10 there, and there's at least one begger avery day.
I usually just tell them to lick my sack or whatever. But sometimes, I really fvck with them. For example: Begger: Hi, can someone send me a dollar? Me: Why should I give you a dollar? Begger: Well, I had to cashout because of a family emergency. Me: WTF?! Your family is in crisis and you're playing poker on the internet? You fvcking ungrateful bastard! I hope you rot in hell. Begger: No, idiot, I just had to cashout to pay for a surgery for my wife. But she's fine now. Me: Is your wife hot? Begger: Yes, very. Me: I'm gonna need pics. Begger: Fvck you pervert. Me: Oooooh, sorry, no money for you. Example #2: Begger: Hi, can someone stake me for just $1? Me: Why? Begger: I'm a winning player, and I just need $1 to play .01/.02 NL. I had to cashout because the wife got in a car accident, and we had to buy a new car. Me: Ironically enough, I staked your wife for $1 last night. |

Re: What do you do when someone comes to your table and panhandles?
If they ask "Could I borrow $5 from you?", I usually respond with "How about you give me $5 and I'll owe you $10, OK?"

Him: Can someone please transfer $5 into my account?
Me: I will if you wash my car. |

Re: What do you do when someone comes to your table and panhandles?
I usually tell them that I'll get my legal people to look at it and send out the contract within the week.
Typically x: Can someone give me $1? L: I'll get my legal people to look at it and send out the contract within the week. x: It's only $1 L: I've been stung like this before x: A lousy dollar? L: No problem, if you're honest you have nothing to fear x: I want you to GIVE me a dollar L: er? What's in it for me? x: I play a tourney and give you half what I win, I'm a good player. L: But if you lose I'm $1 down? x: yes L: Excuse me for being thick here, but it seems that most of the time I lose $1, and the rest of the time you keep half of the winnings. x: yes, that's right L: Hmmm, my legal people won't like that. x: Just $1 L: Do you have anything you could give me as collatoral? A credit card number maybe? x: No, if I had a credit card, I'd have my own $1 L: So you have a bad credit rating? x: God ITS ONLY $1!!!! L: If it's only $1, then why are you so upset about the prospect of having to pay it back? Are you a criminal? x: Please, just send me $1. L: We've been through this, I don't think it would be wise at this point. x: Your (sic) an idiot L: I'm not the one asking for $1, GL. x: ****** Yes, I do have too much time on my hands, but oh well.
