Default Live SNGs

Hi,
I did just post a question about cache creek in the trip report thread but then realized I should probably simply ask this in general.

Are there single table tournaments held anywhere these days? I heard about foxwoods having it a while back and I'd love to know if they are being held anywhere accessible to the CA bay area (tahoe, cache creek, peninsula), or even AC since I visit there rarely.

Thanks.

Taj runs them. However the juice on any of these things is enormous. Even against terrible opponents you won't see much profit out of them.

yeah, that $10 fee (what do you call that part of the buyin entry fee again?) is killer. But perhaps if B & M players are much worse than online (I don't know anything about B&M), I can push for a 25%-roi-like return which would score roughly 15% in this 50+10 format. And the winner takes all should be better for us than others.

A 25% ROI at a Party 50+5 would translate into a 5.8% ROI (its 50+15). Obviously this is a little off since it is winner take all instead of top 3.
