Default Dell 9300 question - urgent!

How critical is it to upgrade the video card? The standard is the 64 meg... is it worth $100 to get the 128 meg?

Thanks!

It really depends on what you want to do with the system. If you're not doing anything graphic-intensive, then 64m is probably fine.

I'd spend the extra $100, though. But, I like to play the occasional video game. Also, I think $100 is a pretty small price to pay for an extra bit of security (the peace of mind sort); you're not going to be able to pop in a new video card if you not satisfied with video performance.

My laptop has only 64meg card, and I've not had any problems with it. But, I mainly use it for light poker playing, word processing, and video playback. Your requirements may vary.
