Default San Diego Poker

I'm going to be traveling to San Diego in mid May. I know there are a number of 2+2ers in the San Diego area. I would appreciate some recommendations. From my search of the B&M forum, it looks like Viejas is one of the favorite places to play. I normally play 4/8 to 10/20 depending of the texture of the game. Where are the good places near San Diego to play?

viejas is good.

i dunno if its just me tho, the 4/8 at viejas is always tight. the 3/6 is always juicy but 4/8 seems tight for some reason

It must be you, is one of them a kill game? Or is there a 6-12, 8-16, or no 6-12 and just an 8-16? sometimes the next biggest game will affect the game your looking at for no other reason than the players have played at that level for a while and dont want to move up.

I like Oceans 11, but that's because I live closer to there. They spread 2/4 up to 20/40 and maybe 40/80 (or just 20/40 with overs) and 1-2 NL, 2-3 NL and 5-5 NL.

Food can't be beat.

It's real spotty, but it seems like they're not uber-strict. If you just walk in like you belong there and know where you're going, you probably won't get stopped unless you're with a bunch of other youngens.

no carding. I look young. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

A guy I knew reasonably well from high school works the board in the low limit/tourney room, he knows I'm not 21, he doesn't care.

also, the food is incredible and super cheap. I was ordering some sort of food item (fruit plate, taquitos, cake, potato skins, etc) every two hours and they only cost like $1-3 each.

Thanks for the info...

Oceans 11 sounds nice but I'll be much closer to Vejas.
