Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, MP1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, BB calls, MP1 folds.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

i'm new to limit, so any advice appreciated

what should have been going through my mind throughout this hand?

I bet because I'm HU and I may still have the best hand. I would be more inclined to check against a tricky TAG who will c/r or someone who will call down with any pair and not A high (a rareity in these games.)

I also check the river UI unless he is a complete and utter moron (and maybe even then).

Obviously you realized that 1/2 hands go in the micro forums. 2/4+ go in small stakes. However...

IMO, the biggest misconception on these forums is that hands need to be posted in a specific forum based on the limit the hand was played at. Personally I think that it would benefit the Micro Forum, as well as help clean-up SS, if beginning players who are starting at 2/4 and 3/6 would choose to post their hands in the Micro Forum. Just because it's the micro forum doesn't mean that the other beginning players can't discuss the play of hands at the 2/4 + 3/6 limits. Likewise, just because it's a hand from the 2/4 + 3/6 limits doesn't mean that beginner-type questions should be posted in the SS Forum.
