Re: 20.1 in LCD for $549
This is the best price yet on the 2001FP, that's for certain. I jumped on it at 599 about 3 weeks ago.
Awesome monitors. I'm hoping to pick up a 2nd in the next 2 months, as I think they'll probably drop even further. Still, there is no way anyone can go wrong by snagging it at this price now. |

I would like to know also. I looked at them, and the 2005 looks like its a widescreen version of the screen? Is there any advantage to get the widescreen or best to stick with the 2001? |

whats the difference between the 2005FPW and the 2001FP? [/ QUOTE ] You can check it out on the website, but the 2005FPW is a widescreen model with a different aspect ratio. One very imporant point for multitablers is the fact that the highest resolution the 2005FPW supports is 1680 X 1050, so you cannot 4-table without overlap. But if you're more of a multimedia user (watch movies on your PC, etc), then perhaps that model would be better for you. The max resolution on the 2001FP is 1600 x 1200 (and the monitor's picture looks BEST at this setting). You can 4-table without overlap. |

Re: 20.1 in LCD for $549
I just tried this code at Dell and it said it was previously used. I assume that since this was posted at Slick deals was multi-user. It expires today, so I guess I'm screwed. Anyone konw how often Slick deals finds these kinds of discounts?

[/ QUOTE ] If you really want to keep an eye out, I suggest the 'Hot Deals' forum at Fatwallet.com http://fatwallet.com/c/18/ That coupon was good for up to 1,500 uses - so obviously it's expired. I wouldn't worry, I think you'll be able to get it again at that prize in 2-3 weeks at worst. If I remember, I'll post it here when it happens as I may be looking to pick up a second one by then. |

this is total B.S.
Notice the wording on this deal. You "may" get the coupon. This is crap. You have to go to the goddamn "Delff" and sign up only to be told, "I am sorry you didn't win but here is a deal on blah, blah, blah". Maybe I am missing something here but that link didn't work. Did anyone actually get this monitor at this price?

Stack the coupon with the 25% off LCD Dellf coupon to get the best deals. The coupon thread might have some 25% off Flat Panel coupons. [/ QUOTE ] Then again, it might not. |

Re: 20.1 in LCD for $549
Oh, I got the dellf 25% off code. But when I tried to stack the slickdeals $50 code it was expired. I think I'll hang on to the 25% code and wait for a $ discount.
