In a typical 1-2 online game, what is the average % you should be seeing the flop? I am usually between 17-22...Seems low to me..

At least 90%.

The typical 1-2 online game is often loose passive or loose aggressive. This means that for being most profitable you have to adjust your style and not be a rock preflop.
If youre gonna move up to say 5/10 online then you have the right play but not for 1/2.
You should see the flop about 30% of the time if its loose passive and mostly in the later positions with suited connectors/smaller pairs when there are many limpers. Speculative hands that are wery good on the flop or throwned away
