Raising crap preflop is not worth it, even when it's blind v. blind. Just call here.

However, when it's blind v. blind, keep firing with top pair. No reason to think you're beat until he raises.

when it is blind vs. blind their is no reason to think top pair is bad. he probably has mid-pair or a pocket pair and assumed you just fired on the flop as an automatic continuation bet. Re-raise the turn.
You also probably shouldn't be raising 8K unless you have a better read on your opponent.

thx for help... later he doubled me up with 9 high (he moved all in with his OESD on turn but was drawing dead to my nuts)... makes me think he had dogshit on this hand...

so how is this line:

limp pre-flop, fire 2/3 pot, fire 2/3 pot... block bet river (1/3 - 1/2 pot)???

Re-raise the turn.

I thought strongly of doing this... then thought he would only call if I were beaten so I could just call and then check-call the river... but then I thought this guy was going to eventually just put me all-in and I didn't think K8 was worth it... so I thought I would just lay it down.

In retrospect, I see clearly now the logic of just limping in and keeping pot small... thx for help.
