Default Session Review: Hand 58, A/Q fold preflop

So far as I know, I'm the only one who noticed and will comment on this hand:

PreFlop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (9 Players)
UTG raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, Hero folds

I know SSHE recommends folding all offsuit hands except A/K to an early-position raise, but at Party 1/2, can you always put someone who raises UTG on A/A, K/K, Q/Q, or A/K?

There's nothing wrong with playing textbook-tight, but I don't think playing A/Q from late position for two cold is that -EV here to dump it as a routine.

You have 2 callers, plus the big blind might play also.
You will have position on the flop, and the donk overcalls make it easier for you to play here.

I would call without hesitation here.

No - that's why you can 3-bet it with a good read.
Without a read, AQ is a dog against most unknown UTG raising hands, and frequently a dominated dog at that.
