Default Gotta be a better way to play this.

Horrible kicker, tons of overcards. Do I bet out? Checkraise a LP bet? Or just call a small bet and see what the turn brings? If so, bet any undercard?

I would play it like you did. If I have 29 I not betting anything unless I have two pair or trips.

I really don't see anything wrong with how the hand developed, you don't want any action at all.

I woulda tried a bet on the flop here of maybe 1/2 the pot or so...maybe like 65-70. You dont get hurt at all and you can get an idea of where you are. And you are getting 3 to 1 on the money on this bet. Yer approach was prolly cool too...just a bit passive for my taste.

Actually seems like another player may have a better 9...but you may have best hand to smaller pp.

I'm really not too excited about playing a 92, top pair low kicker, which tons of overcards that stay in... 92 doesn't have a good chance of holding up.

If I were the button, I'd bet the pot and expect to take it down right there. Lots of draws there but I wouldn't expect anyone to call given what you are representing, and what no one else apprently has. +EV in the long run. Agree/disagree?

checking this flop 5 way is okay. But when no one bets the flop, I am going to bet the turn. You should get respect since you were the blind and could have been going for a check raise on the flop, or have hit an 8 on the turn.

Normally, you are not going to bet the hand again on the river unless a miracle 9 comes off.

Check-calling seemed passive to me also, but I really didn't want to commit 60-70 chips to this pot. Calling seemed right because BB only min. bet.

Default just to be clear

Are you saying you'd bet the pot on the button after the min. bet and callers?

Folding preflop seems the clearest improvement here.

I don't see any reason to fold for 15 on the flop though.
