Default Slowplay these trips?

What do you think?

Crypto $1/$2. Just sat down, so no reliable reads.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
4 folds, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button raises, SB calls, BB calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB bets, Hero ???

I think your first preflop call is atrocious, and your second isn't much better.

Postflop, I'd call, intending on checkraising the turn if Button raises, or raising, if Button just calls.

keep folding them, and openraise from MP2 if you feel like gambling

Folding preflop is SOP but then you know that.

So you hit the call button -- what now? I like a smooth call here hoping button raises, then 3 bet or cap. I play it a little more gingerly from the turn on at that point if that happens, but I'm certainly not folding. If it's called through then you should raise the turn if BB bets again.

Seems to me that as long as BB keeps leading and several people stay in, it's going to be hard to justify a raise anywhere along the way. You're second of 6 to act - anytime you raise, you risk knocking out of the pot more money than you'r putting into it with the raise. With 6 in and a non-threatening board, this could easily be a 20 BB pot without any raises and 999 is good enough to win it a large % of the time (3 suits, no connectors on the flop). So, until 3-4 drop out or the lead changes, I think just calling on every street is the most profitable play.

fold pf.. T9o is will get beat by many many hands here. unless you flop like that.

raise and reraise this, till you are sure he can beat you. But don't fold this premium flop.

I think a raise is definitely justified. It wouldn't be a bad play to raise on every opportunity. However Greg's post,(calling flop hoping Button raises) would also be a reasonable play. But, just allowing everyone to see another card on flop where they are getting at least 14:1 pot odds, and at least 9:1 on the turn, you're asking for someone to make runner-runner on you. The biggest +EV would definitely involve a raise at some point.
