Default 18+ cardrooms in CA?

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but a search didn't turn up anything useful. I'm looking for a B+M somewhere in-state to play some 15/30 or 20/40 LHE. Since I'm not 21 and I'd rather not mess around with playing underage (go ahead, call me a pussy) I figure this means driving some distance, since to the best of my knowledge the cardrooms on the Peninsula (e.g. Artichoke Joe's, Garden City) are 21+ (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Any ideas?

I think Viejas and Morongo spread limits at that level. Maybe Sycuan(sp.?) and Chumash.

He's from NorCal... no 18+ that I know of that will spread those kind of limits. Also, you will get carded at Bay 101, so I wouldn't try going there.

I guess if you're not from around here it wouldn't be clear what Peninsula I'm referring to...yes, I live in NorCal. I figured 8/16 was about the highest I'd be able to play legally, and even that would require a substantial drive, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Metetron, since you seem to have experience playing around here, do you happen to know if Garden City/Artichoke Joe's/Lucky Chances are equally likely to card as Bay 101? If I can be reasonably sure I won't get carded at one of these places I guess I could hope nobody asks and leave quietly if they do, as has been suggested in other threads. But, if worse comes to worse, I'm OK with just waiting 18 months.

Not enough experience at anything but GC or Bay 101. Bay 101, I probably get carded 9 times out of 10. Garden City probably not as much, I actually try to see if I can get by without getting carded sometimes. They have security at every ramp down to the poker floor. You could try to sneak by when they aren't paying attention.

I've never been carded on the floor at Garden City, but I was carded once at Bay 101 after running over the $8/16 and taking a bathroom break. Apparently the other players complained to the dealer/floor to card me since they didn't like me taking their money. Would've sucked big time that time if I wasn't 21.

Also, I used to make the roughly 2 1/2 hrs commute from San Jose to either Table Mountain or The Palace casinos out off of Highway 5 before I was 21. They don't spread much. $2/4, $3/6, occasional $4/8, and a $1/3 non-capped buy-in NL game (this thing is super soft), but if you are desperate for some live action, you could head over there (aim for a friday, leave here about noon or so, get a motel 6 at Coalinga Junction where harris ranch is).

They have $8/16 and $10/20? That seems redundant.
