When will Ray Zee write a PLO8 book?

Inquiring minds want to know.

There are no PLO8 books. HLSFAP has 2 pages on it. Ciaffone has about 6 combined pages on it. There is some internet material, but generally speaking, it's unplowed ground.

He told me (in an e-message) that his next book (if there is one) will be NL. I asked him the same question.

I hope he doesn't include his farm animals as major characters in the book.

A PLO8 book would be a disaster, IMO. It isn't so difficult to figure out with a solid limit O/8 background and some thought + experience. The big plus of PLO8 is that it's a huge edge game when played against weak opponents, but a -EV game against strong opponents. You'll never see it spread in the casino because good players won't want to play other good players at high limits, and weak players quickly bust.

I am sure it was close to a year ago, and it didn't sound like he was actually working on anything.
