I have this mental image of loners playing on Christmas day, blowing 200 bucks at 3/6 SH, realising they are unloved and life is futile, drinking a bottle of cheap scotch and then taking 100 extra strong pain-killers. I don't wanna be the guy taking their money that day, so I'll pass.

But if he brings enough people each throwing $200 my way I guess it's ok. Good thing we celebrate christmas eve here in Sweden, so I can get quality time both with my family and with sad, lonely, drunk americans the following day.

I know my play will probably be up a little on New Years and down a little on Christmas. Up a lot on New Years if I can help it.

I must admit that last year at the stroke of midnight, New Years Eve I was playing poker online.
Our kids were 2 and 10 months. My wife was exhausted and sleeping, and I spent the night playing poker. It was alright. It could possibly end up that way again this year.
