Re: $11\'s Good pushes ? (4 hands)
yeah, I have not been very successfull pushing from SB when someone else has limped. win some, but might be losing more that I win in this situation...

Re: $11\'s Good pushes ? (4 hands)
I also find this move works best when your opponent has chips to spare, but not TOO many, say for example 12-13BB and has limped. When it's a loose or tight player (unless he's very weak-tight or weak-loose), putting in so much of their stack, they feel "committed" and will call too much to make it an +EV move. Even when they have a bigger stack though, it still depends if they're basically a moron, but when your stack is around half theirs and the limp isn't much, they do tend to lay down more. From my experience.

1) hate it
2) hate it 3) borderline, but I wouldn't do it (I'm guessing that many players would though) 4) standard |

Re: $11\'s Good pushes ? (4 hands)
Whats so bad about hand 1? Hes suited and he still has fold equity for the time being but not much longer. I would bet that on a tight calling range this would be +ev. Is the small stack being loose the problem?
oops I thought he was on the button |

The position, the cards??? my guess is hand 1 bad position from CO, Hand 2 bad cards w/ a limper, hand 3 you don't like the 2 kicker... is that correct? (by the way I won w/ hand 3, but I suspected that it still may have been a bad play which is why it is included) |

Re: $11\'s Good pushes ? (4 hands)
I agree that hand #2 is pretty weak. But all other hands (with the possible exception of #1 because of the short stack) seem like +ev FE situations.
Could someone school me here? |

Re: $11\'s Good pushes ? (4 hands)
1 is marginal but understandable
2 is very bad b/c of the call from floppy 3 is a bit better than 1 but still marginal 4 is correct |
