Default Rest

Ok I normally take 1 day off a week just in the middle of the week to get some rest from poker because I play it everyday, just wondering do you guys do something like this? I hear some people play everyday and never take a break, just wondering if thats more profitable, I mean a day off is non profit as you dont make anything that day.

If you get enough sleep every night, you don't need to take many day offs.

Thats why started taking a day off, I started noticing I was getting too tired from grinding it out every single day, needed a day to cool off from bad beats and get my mind to relax a bit.

Of course rest is important. Any diversion from poker is good. Days off are good. For most people if they play anything too much, boredom sets in. If boredom sets in your play will not be optimal.
