Excelent representation Jimbobobb. First time I saw someone break it down using A B C D symbols, it makes things much easier to explain. I will have to borrow that myself for the future. Good one!

Let me guess.... you owned them with your boat? They probably thought you had a pair of kings... lol! I doubt if any of your oponents had the flush... or were they just very passive?

Actually, MP1 had trips Kings [K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]].

SB had the flush [Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]].

I just read this item yesterday:

Bet, Raise or Fold

Wow, that article is just full of horrible advice.

Which piece of advice was the most horrible, or was it all bad? Was any of it good?

"Remember, it is always correct to fold if you think you are beat. It's ok to get bluffed. It happens, and good players can be bluffed, bad players cannot."

Huh? Fold for one bet on the river after betting like crazy until that point? Ed would kick this guy's butt

[/ QUOTE ]

From the article: "Calling before the flop and after the river card is acceptable"

The whole basis of the article is flawed, there are many times when it is correct to call.
