WTF, please tell us!

Since

A. We are now "during" the War On Terror, and
B. The War On Terror will last "indefinitely", according to its architects, then

when will we be allowed to reflect on its causes, mistakes and consequences ?

You suggested "when the war is over".

I guess that makes it ..indefinitely.

Default NWR x 2

Your idea that a "War" used as a euphemism would be interpreted as a war by any serious game theorists is indicative of your level of play.

NWR = Not Worthy of Response

What's game theory got to do with anything, baby? You can't be that desperate!

Here is your quotation again: [ QUOTE ]
"The time to consider the justification for war is before, and after -- not during."

[/ QUOTE ]
Let me assure you that Winston Churchil, whom you quoted, was not speaking euphemistically. Let me also assure you that Washington's use of the term "War On Terror" is anything but metaphorical -- it is, in fact, quite literal.

The War On Terror is an ongoing war, conducted with both military troops and civilian personnel, like all wars, and (here's the kicker) will "last indifenitely". This is NOT a "war" like the "War On Poverty"!

...Hey, this is the two plus two website. Two plus two equal four. An indefinite war lasts indefinitely. If we wanna wait for such a war to end before we examine its cause, we shall wait indefinitely. That's the four.

What part do you find hard to understand (swallow) ?
