Where to stay in Nassau (Bahamas)?

So I just took the plunge on Spirit's Caribbean sale, and got 2 RT tix to Nassua, Bahamas for $157. http://www.spiritair.com/welcome.asp...&number=78

Only problem is...I've never been and I have no idea where to stay. I'm looking to keep it under $100/night. I don't know the island, so I'll have to take your recs on proximity to certain beaches/areas of the island.

Any thoughts?
