Default 20 \" Monitors and Ergonomics

Here's a question. I've always been told that your eye sight line should be level with the top of the monitor but i've read recently that if you have a monitor 20" or bigger your eyesight should be at least 3 inches below the top of the monitor. I've checked around the internet but seem to be getting conflicting info. Wondering what everyone here thinks. comments?

Interesting as I have never thought of this. After trial and error I think 3 inches below the top is better.
